The OEM Branding Process

Step 1: Define Your Brand Identity (Week 1)

Prepare brand name and logo (trademark-check in target markets), brand positioning (premium, mid-range, or budget), target audience, color scheme and design language, and price point.

Step 2: Select an OEM Partner (Week 2-3)

Choose a factory with experience matching your customization level, in-house R&D engineers, compliance documentation capability, and sample availability. HEATX Lab offers all four customization levels with a dedicated OEM project manager.

Step 3: Product Customization (Week 3-6)

Work on: Housing (custom color matching, surface finish, logo placement, material selection), Firmware (LED behavior, heating temperature profiles, auto-shutoff, vibration alerts, Bluetooth app integration), and Packaging (custom retail box, user manual in target language, warranty card, accessories).

Step 4: Prototyping and Approval (Week 6-8)

Factory produces 3-5 prototype units. Review physical samples, test functionality, check packaging, request modifications (1-2 rounds typical), and sign off on final design.

Step 5: Production and QC (Week 8-12)

Factory begins mass production (15-25 days for 1,000 units). Request in-line QC photos every 3 days, arrange third-party inspection before shipment (2-3% AQL), factory packs and ships.
